The ultimate goal of Divin is to produce dealcoholized wines of equal or superior quality to traditional wines.”
History
The Loire reinvented
DIVIN was born in 2018 at the Villebois Vineyards, driven by a bold vision: to innovate with Sauvignon Blanc and explore alcohol-free wines. After launching its first wine seltzer, the brand gradually developed a range of 0.0% dealcoholized wines made from Loire Valley grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc. Today, DIVIN has established itself as a pioneer in terroir-driven dealcoholization, recognized both in France and internationally.
Values
Authenticity at the heart of the vine
DIVIN places authenticity and sustainability at the heart of its approach. It champions respect for the Loire Valley terroir and meticulous winemaking practices, free from artificial additives. Each plot is carefully tended to promote slow ripening, preserve natural aromas, and minimize environmental impact. Ethics are as much a part of the soil as they are of the team: transparency, rigor, and a commitment to producing dealcoholized wines that retain the essence of traditional winemaking while promoting responsible consumption.
Expertise
From the vine to controlled dealcoholization
DIVIN's expertise lies in complete mastery: from vine to bottle. Across approximately one hundred hectares in the Touraine region, the selection of individual plots is meticulous: only slowly ripened grapes with naturally low sugar content are chosen. The harvest is painstaking, the winemaking process carefully executed, and the dealcoholization process adapted to each grape variety and vintage to preserve its characteristic aromas. Sometimes, several techniques are combined to guarantee balance, freshness, and character, without compromising on taste.

Alessandro Bariè
"My name is Alessandro Bariè, a passionate oenologist, who returned to Touraine to bring this project to life at Les Vignobles Villebois. My dream is to reveal what the Loire grape varieties can offer, even beyond the realm of alcohol: rich, elegant wines, driven by the terroir. From the outset, I have established a rigorous approach to grape selection and the precise application of dealcoholization techniques, so that each bottle tells a story of soil, climate, and effort, while also celebrating sharing."
