According to the legal framework, any drink containing no more than 1.2 degrees of alcohol is considered alcohol-free. At Gueule de Joie, we favour beers, wines and spirits between 0 and 0.5%, with no harmful effects for anyone, except pregnant women, to whom we recommend the complete absence of alcohol as a precautionary measure.

We select alcohol-free drinks that are healthy and low in calories. And because the challenge is to limit sugar development in order to limit alcohol development, we guarantee a selection that is on average three times less sugary than alcoholic drinks or traditional juices and soft drinks. Expect between 2 and 4 grams of sugar per 100ml depending on the category, without ever compromising on taste or pleasure.

Our drinks are made by producers who prioritise the quality of their raw materials. Dealcoholisation, controlled fermentation, cold distillation, maceration or infusion: precise techniques, with no excess sugar or artificial additives, and a minimum of inputs. Just the taste, the real one.

Our alcohol-free wines are dealcoholised using gentle physical processes (evaporation, filtration, vacuum distillation) with no addition of chemicals. These techniques preserve the aromas, tannins and structure of the wine. When aromatisation is necessary, only natural aromas derived from grapes or must are used. The result? A genuine wine experience… Without the intoxication.

To achieve 0.0%, some winemakers compensate for the aromas lost during dealcoholisation by using must or natural vine extracts. Our beers are sold in packs of 6, as tradition dictates (we're talking about a half-dozen or a dozen!). A practical, cost-effective format that's perfect for sharing. But rest assured: all are available individually in a 100% customisable pack, to suit your preferences and tastes.

There are very few 0.0% beers because achieving this level requires complex and costly technical processes. Fermentation naturally produces alcohol, and removing it entirely without affecting the taste is a real challenge. As a result, most of our alcohol-free beers actually contain around 0.3 to 0.5%. Those at 0.0% have been dealcoholised and are more standardised alternatives, ideal for pregnant women, for example. In all other cases, there is no need to worry: traces of alcohol are already all around us in everyday life. Unless there are medical reasons, these minimal amounts of ethanol pose no danger or negative health effects.

An alcohol-free craft beer is a beer brewed with passion, in small quantities, by artisans who prioritise quality ingredients, creativity and flavour. Alcohol-free doesn't mean character-free: expressive hops, carefully chosen malts, bold recipes… It's the full craft spirit, without the effects.

Alcohol-free beer is made either by limiting fermentation (using special yeasts, low-fermentable malts, low temperatures and quality hops for aroma), or by removing the alcohol after brewing through osmosis or evaporation. The challenge: preserving the aromas while keeping the alcohol content below 0.5%.

Far from the stereotype of "low-quality beer", the can is cooler than ever today, and for good reason: perfectly preserved flavour / better shelf life / instant freshness / unlimited graphic freedom / 100% recyclable / lighter and less fragile parcels.

We do not use the terms "whisky", "rum", "gin" or "tequila" to describe our alcohol-free spirits, as these appellations are legally protected and refer to products containing alcohol. Out of respect for these traditions… And to avoid any confusion, we prefer to speak of cocktail bases. These are creations in their own right, inspired by the great classics, but designed for a different way of enjoying drinks.

Yes, some of our alcohol-free spirits are very enjoyable neat, particularly those with complex, woody or spiced profiles. However, most are designed to be lengthened, as a cocktail base, where they reveal their full potential. The choice is yours: solo or in mixology!

After one or more delivery attempts to the Customer's address that go unclaimed following a delivery notice, the Products will be refunded to the Customer upon receipt by the Sender, after deduction of delivery costs in accordance with our pricing schedule (including where delivery costs were offered free of charge).

Check the tracking first. If the deadline has passed, contact us with your order number and we will launch an investigation with the carrier.

Open the entire parcel in the presence of the delivery driver if possible. Report any missing item or irregularity to us immediately.
