Alcohol-free London Mule
A cousin of the Moscow Mule, this cocktail was created in 1941 by the unlikely encounter between the very first vodka importer in North America, a bartender with far more ginger beer than he could sell, and a Russian expat selling copper tankards. The Moscow Mule quickly became a staple. Today, it comes in many variations. Replace the vodka with non-alcoholic gin and you have a delicious, no-compromise London Mule.
Ingredients
- 5cl – Non-alcoholic Gin
- 1.5cl – Fresh lime juice
- 8 to 10cl – Ginger Beer
- 5-6 fresh mint leaves
Preparation
Place the mint in a glass and muddle it to release its flavor. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Add the lime juice, non-alcoholic gin, and ginger beer. Stir well with a spoon.
You can decorate with a few mint leaves or a wedge of lime.
