Alcohol-free Bloody Mary

Created in 1860 in Italy by Gaspare Campari, this cocktail made with Bitter, red Vermouth and sparkling water was initially known as the Milano-Torino, a name that highlighted the origins of its ingredients.

It was renamed in 1917 in honour of the American soldiers based in Italy, for whom it became their cocktail of choice and who helped to popularise it.

We present here the recipe for an equally delicious alcohol-free Americano.

Ingredients

  • 3 cl of alcohol-free red Vermouth
  • 3 cl of alcohol-free Bitter
  • Sparkling water

Preparation

This cocktail is prepared directly in the glass, over ice. Add the alcohol-free red Vermouth and the alcohol-free Bitter. Top up with a little sparkling water.
Garnish with an orange zest.
