vandeStreek embodies Dutch audacity: creative beers, full of flavor, accessible to all, with and without alcohol.”
History
At the beginning, there was passion!
It all started in 2010 when brothers Sander and Ronald van de Streek brewed beer every weekend in their kitchen, simply out of passion. Their curiosity led them to experiment and explore new avenues. Gradually, their beers gained recognition: festivals, local breweries, and discerning palates. In 2016-2017, they established their own brewery in Utrecht, Netherlands. Since then, van de Streek has become a leading Dutch craft beer brand, with distribution both nationally and internationally.
Values
Uncompromising creativity
vandeStreek prioritizes boldness and sincerity: taste, innovation, and transparency. The brand believes that beer should be full of character, even when it contains very little or no alcohol. It is committed to respect—for the ingredients, the environment, and the simple pleasure of sharing. It also values sustainability: choosing recyclable cans, using solar energy, and reusing heat. Its ambition: that the pleasure of taste is never limited by sobriety, but rather enhanced by ingenuity.
Expertise
Playing with hops & yeasts
Their method is distinguished by a dual requirement: aromatic richness and virtually zero alcohol (≤ 0.5% for many of their non-alcoholic beers). To achieve this, they use powerful American hops combined with special malts, yeasts designed to produce little ethanol, and techniques like dry hopping to intensify flavor without excessive bitterness. Small batches, experimentation (particularly in the "Playground" series), and meticulous care given to each batch result in balanced, complex beers that are surprisingly "just the way we like them."

Ronald van de Streek
"I'm Ronald van de Streek, co-founder of vandeStreek with my brother Sander. What drives me is the desire to brew differently — to break free from the norms, explore flavors, and continue learning. From our first experiments at home, I wanted our beers to tell a story: the joy of experimentation, respect for nature, and rediscovered conviviality. My vision? That anyone can proudly raise their glass: enjoying a flavorful beer, without having to choose between indulgence and sobriety."
