Liefmans

Founded in 1679 in Oudenaarde, the Liefmans brewery blends tradition and innovation. A pioneer of fruit beers, its reputation owes much to Rosa Merckx, the first female master brewer in Belgium, who refined its iconic recipes such as the Goudenband and the Kriek-Brut. Thanks to mixed fermentation and a blend of young and mature beers, Liefmans delivers unique flavours, combining acidity and sweetness. Today, it continues its artisanal know-how on the banks of the Scheldt with a characterful alcohol-free beer.
