Alcohol-Free Whiskey Sour
This cocktail, invented in 1766, was greatly appreciated by the British. It had its moment of glory in 1955 when it appeared in the film "The Seven Year Itch", starring Marilyn Monroe.
Ingredients
- 6cl alcohol-free Whiskey
- 3cl of fresh lemon juice
- 1.5cl of sugar syrup
- 1.5cl of egg white or aquafaba (optional)
Preparation
It is best to make this cocktail with a shaker, but don't worry, an empty jam jar works just as well. If you have neither, you can make this cocktail directly in the glass.
If you have a shaker, add all the ingredients without ice, shake vigorously, add ice and shake again, then serve in a whiskey glass over ice.
Without a shaker, add all the ingredients directly to the glass, without the egg white.
Garnish with a slice of orange.
