Alcohol-free London Mule
Cousin of the Moscow Mule, a cocktail created in 1941 from the unlikely meeting of the very first vodka importer in North America, a bartender with far more Ginger Beer than he could sell and a Russian expatriate selling copper mugs. The Moscow Mule very quickly became a must. Today it comes in many variations. Replace the vodka with alcohol-free gin and you get a delicious London Mule without compromise.
Ingredients
- 5cl – Alcohol-free gin
- 1.5cl – Fresh lime juice
- 8 to 10cl – Ginger Beer
- 5–6 fresh mint leaves
Preparation
In a glass, add the mint and muddle it to release the flavours. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Add the lime juice, the alcohol-free gin and the Ginger Beer. Stir well with a spoon.
You can garnish with a few mint leaves or a wedge of lime.
